Desk top sizes

We offer 3 sizes of desk top to give flexible options for customers with limited space to larger options for less constricted spaces.

1200 x 600mm – Compact size desk top, an option for small rooms/office spaces, ideally for use with smaller PC setups. Single arm setups would give you more desk top space than a dual monitor setup, which will impact more on your desk top space. 

1350 x 1400mm – Medium size desk top, for spaces less constricted. It will work well with both single arm and dual arm options providing ample space for other devices/objects.

1500 x 800mm – Large sizes desk top – Giving you adequate space while your working.  Single and dual arm setups will work well giving you enough desk top space for devices/objects

Colour

When buying a desk consider the space that you are putting the desk into and the colour choices you make for the desk top and frame to the colour scheme of that room.

Is the desk top easy to clean?

Due to their resistant and hygienic surfaces Sapien desk tops do not require any special maintenance. The surface is generally easy to clean using warm water and a micro fibre cloth or sponge.

Q. What tools do I need to build a desk?

A. A drill, 40/50mm hole saw, a screwdriver, pencil, tape measure

A. 1 to 2 people

Q. Will this be suitable if desk is up tight against a wall?

1. The desk needs a 10 cm minimum gap around all sides of the desk to prevent any collisions or trapping while operating.

What is the minimum/ maximum desk thickness the clamp can work too?

What is the min/maximum screen size the monitor arm can hold?

Cable management spine

Q. How many cables can you add to the cable management spine?

A. 3 – 4 cables can be added to each segment of the spine

Cable extension housing unit

What is the preferable way to install the cable extension housing unit?

Through the desk installation allows you to mount the cable extension housing unit to the rear of the desk and bring the mounting of the monitor arms forward on the desk top. This gives more range to the monitor arms where they can be pulled forward and pushed back

What size of extension cable should I consider?

3 metre 6 gang extension cable is preferable to use with the desk

Will my PC fit?

The height range is 300 – 533mm and the width range is 88 – 203 mm

To reinforce our confidence in the products we sell, we are happy to offer a warranty that covers the replacement or refund of any of our products that fails to perform as intended, for up to 10 years after your purchase date.

Normal cosmetic wear and tear are of course not included but the technical performance and working parts of all our products are covered. If you have any questions, or believe you may need to make a claim under our warranty, please contact our Customer Service Team.

Standing desks are a huge benefit to your comfort. When you plan your installation make sure you consider the space around you.  Our product range includes various accessories such as monitor arms, cable management spines and PC holders.  Pay particular attention to power or network access and any resulting cables.  Remember, cables that will be raised and lowered with the desk frame will need to be of sufficient length, plus be routed to avoid trapping or snagging when in use. Our Cable management Spine is the perfect, safe and elegant solution.   

Investing the time to think about the room and plan how your set up will best work for you, will provide the best results. Consider, windowsills, radiators and shelves etc. as you’ll need room to adjust the height to your preference.  A second person would be helpful to assist during the installation and some basic tools as listed in the instructions (tape measure, drill, pencil, screwdriver) will be necessary.   

Sapien also gives you full confidence, with a team of enthusiastic representatives at hand, who will be more than happy to guide or help with any questions or concerns, pre or post purchase.

All Sapien products are carefully engineered and quality checked, but there may still be situations where you would like to return your Sapien product to us. 

We can help arrange for your Sapien product to be returned, based upon the reasons and the type of product, but there may be different processes to follow. The easiest way, is to contact our Support team and discuss the situation with us, so we can then advise on the best way to proceed. 

Please do not return items without first obtaining authorisation and an RMA # – we are here to help!
